About me
I am a recent graduate from UCLA with an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in systems and control. I am also a former president of the UCLA photography club, a community which promotes creativity and exploration in photography through social events and peer workshops.
Photography
I enjoy capturing feelings, emotions and memories of the people, places and things that I encounter to create a collection of the meaningful parts of my life and to share those feelings and emotions with others. I have been shooting mostly digital with some film in between. I am currently experimenting and learning to shoot medium format.
Mechanical Engineering
My interest in mechanical engineering began with the pinewood derby and has since evolved into robotics, machine learning. I hope to use my passion and skills to create physical devices and machines that help us connect with the wonderful world we live in.
Cycling
I started road biking when I was 15. Several years later, I began mountain biking and it quickly became my favorite outdoor activity— a mix of athletic ability, technical innovations and beautiful scenery. I enjoy every aspect of the sport, from replacing cables and rebuilding leaking suspension forks, to hitting trails with friends on the weekends.
